J.D. Zeik

Assistant Professor of Screenwriting and Film

J.D. Zeik’s credits include his original screenplay, Ronin, starring Robert DeNiro; The Touch, with Michelle Yeoh; Pistol Whipped, with Steven Seagal; and the TV film (and subsequent series) Witchblade, on which he also served an executive producer. He has also worked with artists as varied as James Cameron, Alfonso Cuaron, and 50 Cent.  His most recent gig is writing Sylvester Stallone’s “Expendables 4.”

Zeik graduated from Purchase College, where he started his writing career as a playwright. His plays have been produced in both New York and Los Angeles. He has taught screenwriting at Purchase College since the spring of 2000.
