INTAR Theater to present world premiere of Truckers, by Mariana Carreño King

INTAR Theater, one of the longest-running Latiné theatres producing in English in the U.S., will present the world premiere of Assistant Professor of Playwriting Mariana Carreño King’s play Truckers in its Main Stage season.

Truckers, directed by Alfredo Narciso, follows Mayor, Lollipop, and Freckles whose trip with some unusual cargo gets weird when unexpected guests, a strange rest stop clerk, and otherworldly energies appear. The dark comedy stars Christine Bruno, Jesse Castellanos, Jorge Chapa, Yadira Correa, and Jacqueline Guillén.

Truckers runs February 25-March 26 Off-Broadway, with opening night set for March 6.
