In Good Light: Heisman Trophy on ESPN
Professor Dave Grill and several alumni worked to light the Heisman Trophy Presentation ceremony.
Associate Professor of Theatre Design/Technology David Grill ’86 designed the lighting to ensure the new set for the Heisman Trophy Presentation, held at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Appel Room on December 11, looked its best, including the hand-carved, nine-foot replica of the famous statue.
Grill, who’s won five Emmy® awards from 10 nominations for his work on elaborate productions such as Super Bowl Halftime Shows and the opening ceremony for the Olympics, appears below with several crew members, also Purchase alumni. (Left to Right)
