Peggy Stafford (Assistant Prof. Playwriting)
Playwriting and Screenwriting Assistant Professor and Chair of Playwriting Peggy Stafford adapted her short play 16 Words Or Less into a screenplay and the film has now been selected to screen as part of the New York Indie Theatre and Film Festival . The film was made by “theater people making film” and is a great example of the Purchase multi-platform approach to story-telling. Opening night of the festival will be hosted by playwright Qui Nguyen who also writes screenplays and television.
