Raven Barkley ’15 “Pointes” to Her Purchase Experience
In a recent article in Pointe magazine, Raven Barkey ’15 describes how Purchase not only prepared her for the dance world, but how it helped her discover her love of computer programming. She plans to pursue a career in computer science following her dance career.
She’s been with the Charlotte Ballet since graduating, an audition she nailed during her senior year.
Having worked on dance productions at Purchase, Barkley also gained a true appreciation for the technical work that happens behind the scenes. “I have so much respect for the production crew. Here at Charlotte Ballet, I love hanging out with the production staff.”
