What’s Your Binge?

It’s no wonder Netflix saw record profits and Americans logged 40 hours of week watching television in late March.

Stuck at home from the pandemic, some of you binged TV, but others turned to a variety of activities.

Justin Lovell, assistant sports information director in Athletics, rewatched Game of Thrones and Lost.

Art+Design’s Christine Attanasio turned to TV and podcasts. Her favorites are Community, The Expanse, and Little Fires Everywhere; Office Ladies, CounterClock, and Ear Hustle.

Sherry Llauger, head athletic trainer in Athletics, watched Naked and Afraid, Chrisley Knows Best, and Flea Market Flip.

Sheli Taylor watched The Prisoner, a late 60s single season TV series starring Patrick McGoohan as a former British spy who is abducted and taken to a mysterious village where is he renamed “Number 6” and repeatedly coerced into divulging his secrets, with no success. She says, “It is a strange and mesmerizing series with strong political and psychological overtones. It is visually fun, super creative, and way more exciting than it sounds!”

Kristi McKee, associate director of communications, caught up on Dead to Me, started Ozark, blew through The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann, and is oddly attracted to the supersized Netflix episodes of Hoarders.

Some reported bingeing activities that did not involve screens.

Chris Bisignano, athletic director, enjoys lawn and garden work and walking his dog.

Reading has been Athletics Financial Manager Alexa Haines binge activity.

And Mike Bocklet, head coach of men’s lacrosse, also binges on good books and playing cards with his wife.
