Edward Pomerantz, Associate Professor of Screenwriting at Purchase College recently received the Critics Choice Award in the short films category at the L’Age d’Or International Arthouse Film Festival in August 2019. The film was also chosen as a selection for The Hague Global Cinema Festival.
La Comida is based on a story by French author Guy DeMaupassant.
The film previously won Best International Short Film at the London Discover Film Festival in 2016.
