Multicultural Center

The Purchase College Multicultural Center is an inclusive space for members of the campus community to explore, learn, and share their cultural identities and differences with one another. The Center is an educational resource, enabling those to gather and celebrate our community’s diversity.

  • To foster the integration of cultural and social perspectives through collaboration and activity

  • To recognize multicultural interactions and address how they impact personal identity

  • Library collection of books and DVDs: The MCC has a growing collection of books and DVDs focusing on diverse cultural identities and equity.

  • Provide a safe place for students to share and discuss cultural identities and differences.
  • Offer trainings and support to members of the campus community to assist with and educate about diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice. 
  • Connect students to campus community and surrounding communities.

       PWLN #AMA Event: Confidence Building

    Purchase Women Leadership Network: Confidence Building

    Time:  7:00pm—8:00pm

    Whether you call it imposter syndrome or something else, we all experience moments of doubt or a flat out confidence crisis. During this PWLN Ask Me Anything (#AMA) event, co-chair Roxanna Lewis ’90 and member Rebecca Bruckenstein ’12 will lead a conversation about how to tap into your inner strength, embrace your personal narrative, and step boldly into 2023 and beyond.
