Sexual Assault, Relationship Abuse, and Interpersonal Violence

Students may obtain a confidential first response in a crisis situation involving any aspect of interpersonal violence. Campus Advocacy Services (CAS) delivers Victim’s Services and full information on potential options for help - regardless of whether you choose to take further action.

For a confidential crisis response call 914-251-6390 or walk-in (M-F) 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to Counseling and Behavioral Health Services on the Lower Level of Humanities.

Faculty - are encouraged to contact CBHS (24/7 - see below) for consultation or to connect students with crisis support should a student approach you for help.

Keep control of your information while you learn the details involved in any further actions.

In a crisis, support prior to reporting is in the student’s best interests for future crisis management and health. Students are encouraged to use Campus Advocacy Services as a first step in receiving help and information covering all options involved in incidents of sexual assault, partner violence and/or stalking. A confidential consultation with licensed professional staff can help students fully understand their options. We help students take whatever actions they may choose for safety, medical intervention, psychological support, and campus conduct, Title IX , or criminal reporting.
