The mission of the Purchase College Alumni Association (PCAA) is to cultivate fellowship among alumni and foster mutually productive and rewarding relations between alumni and the College community.

From the PCAA President


Dear Fellow Alumni,

Our alumni association is now more fifty years old and over 30,000 alumni strong as we welcome 550 new graduates from the Class of 2024 to the PCAA. From our shared roots at 735 Anderson Hill Road, Purchase alumni can be found in every state and more than a dozen countries around the globe. We are a bright, innovative, and talented alumni community that carries the unique and powerful Think Wide Open mindset forward to achieve great things in our respective fields. We are all #ProofofPurchase!

As we begin the new year, I have a request for every alum: Attend or support just one more Purchase event than you did last year. Your participation can make a significant impact on the culture, momentum and success of the College. Below is a list of a few ways you can play a part in our future:

  1. Refer a student to Purchase.
  2. Attend an event, lecture series, exhibition, performance, athletic game, etc.
  3. Stay in touch with your professors, and consider coming back to lecture in a class or speak on a panel.
  4. Provide advice to a student interested in your professional field.
  5. Provide internship opportunities.
  6. Become a mentor to a  student or recent alum who is looking for some guidance.
  7. Make a financial gift to support student scholarships or one of your passion areas.
  8. Join a PCAA committee.
  9. Nominate an alum for our alumni awards (the call for nominations will open in early 2025).
  10. Update your contact information so you’re always ‘in the know’ about alumni activities.
  11. Share exciting news like promotions, marriages, new family, accomplishments, etc. for the Alumni In Action feature in proof magazine, social media, and the alumni e-newsletter.

I hope you will join me in helping our alma mater grow even stronger and spreading the Purchase College name and our powerful Think Wide Open mission in our ever-changing world!
