Scholarships for New Students

We commit to making education accessible and affordable and offer a range of scholarships to support your educational goals.

Three Paths to Scholarship Funds

As an incoming student, you may qualify for scholarship funds…

  • Automatically
  • Through auditions and/or portfolio submissions
  • By invitation, depending on program or major

The Fine Print

  • We do not award scholarships based solely on high school grade point average (GPA).
  • You may receive only one institutional scholarship offer.

Types of Scholarships Available

Below are the different scholarship types available to incoming students.

 

  • For admitted first-year students in eligible majors; submission required.

Think Wide Open Scholarship

  • Open to SUNY Top 10% or Westchester Scholars Programs

Housing Awards

  • For students who submit portfolios, auditions, or other creative work as part of the admission process 

Talent-Based Scholarships

  • For transfer students applying to Liberal Arts and Sciences programs (excludes BFA and MusB programs)
