In addition to the tuition, there is a $25 nonrefundable registration fee paid once per semester. The early registration discount deadline is Friday, January 16th, 2026. Early registration discount does not apply to noncredit seats in undergraduate courses.

Draw the portrait from life with emphasis on capturing the unique qualities of the individual through understanding line, shadow, patterns, and shapes. Emphasis will be placed on proportion, design, and the structure and planes of the head. Explore drawing techniques and materials.

Noncredit
Design and compose a still life using objects of your choice. Learn the importance of composition, design, value, color, light, rendering and modeling the form, and how all of these elements harmonize to create a solid and cohesive painting.
