This introductory studio course focuses on creating pencil drawing from direct observation. Learn elements of setting up a selection of objects for still life drawing. Explore the fundamentals of composition, design, proportion, and perspective. Practice a variety of drawing techniques such as hatching and stippling to add value and texture. Create a completed drawing. Build a foundation for self-expression through drawing.
