Attend Parent and Family Orientation

If your student has recently been admitted to Purchase College, consider attending the parent, family, and guest orientation sessions.

During your own program, we will tailor information specifically for parents and family members so that we can properly address all of your important questions, concerns, and to-do items.

Enjoy Family Day

Family Day, typically held on a Saturday in October, is an exceptional opportunity for parents and extended family members to get to know their student’s friends and to make some new friends.

This event is for all parents, siblings, and extended family of Purchase College students. There will be a lot happening on campus. Come and spend the day at your leisure enjoying time with your student!

Send Mail and Care Packages

All students receive a campus mailbox for the duration of time they live on campus. All mail sent will arrive in students’ mailboxes including USPS and private carriers. Including both a student’s name and box number will ensure delivery. Please reach out to your student to obtain the exact mailbox number.

Visit Campus

Come to campus to visit your student and see what all Purchase College has to offer.

There are many opportunities to experience an athletic game, eat at one of our dining facilities, and catch a student play or performance, or visit our student galleries.

You can also plan to attend one of our professional arts presenters: Neuberger Museum of Art and The Performing Arts Center.
