Getting involved at Purchase College is a rewarding way to share in your student’s college years. You are invited to be active member of the Purchase community through the following ways.
Family Advisory Council
The mission of the Purchase College Family Advisory Council is to engage Purchase parents and families in activities that promote the college and enrich their students’ undergraduate experience, to create and foster a collaborative partnership and improve communication between the parents and the college, to make Purchase an environment where family members network, learn about the college, and support and contribute to the academic and personal wellbeing of all students.
Family Day is an exceptional opportunity for parents and extended family members to get to know their student’s friends and to make some new friends. This event is for all parents, siblings, and extended family of Purchase College students. There will be a lot happening on campus. Come and spend the day at your leisure enjoying time with your student!
Be sure to save the date: October 1, 2022.
Send Mail and Care Packages
All students receive a campus mailbox for the duration of time they live on campus. All mail sent will arrive in students’ mailboxes including USPS and private carriers. Including both a student’s name and box number will ensure delivery. Please reach out to your student to obtain the exact mailbox number.

If your student has recently been admitted to Purchase College, consider attending the parent, family, and guest orientation sessions.
During your own program, we will tailor information specifically for parents and family members so that we can properly address all of your important questions, concerns, and to-do items.
Join Our Facebook Page
