Student Senate and Committees
The Student Senate is the primary legislative body within the PSGA. The Senate shall represent and advocate for the entire student body, and legislate on bylaws, regulations, and procedures of the PSGA.
The Senate is led by the Chair of Senate and made up by senators that represent the following constituencies:
- School of Liberal Arts and Sciences
- School of the Arts
- Each residential building or complex (9)
- Commuter Students
- Athletics
Committees
The following standing committees of the Student Senate have voting seats for senators, but also representatives from clubs & orgs, services, and students at large. Meetings are open to the public, although voting power is reserved for official members. Contact the chair for further information about joining or just popping by to participate in discussion.
