Justin O’Neill

Justin O’Neill has shaped the visual storytelling of major magazines as photography director at Outside and, previously, visual director at Esquire, with earlier editorial roles at GQ, The New York Times Magazine, and The New Yorker. He is also a photographer: his own book, On Stellar Rays: A Dad, A Daughter, A Divorce, was published by Glitterati in 2018. Recognition from the American Society of Magazine Editors and the Society of Publication Designers reflects the breadth of his editorial career.
