Gregg Evans

Gregg Evans has published five volumes of his ongoing photobook series A Setting Sun with fellow Purchase alumnus and publisher Kris Graves. The project uses photographs and archival material to examine memory, place, and American history. His books are held in the libraries of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art. Evans has also shown work at Aperture Gallery and White Columns, sustaining a practice that moves between photography, publishing, and installation.
