Dela Meskienyar

Lecturer of Acting

Dela Meskienyar is a New York–based actor whose work spans Off-Broadway and regional theater, film, and television. She received her MFA in Acting from the NYU Graduate Acting Program and completed her undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley. 

More About Me

She has taught in both the Graduate Acting and undergraduate Drama programs at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, as well as in the BFA Acting program at Syracuse University. Dela is also Co-Director and Curator of The Verbatim Salon, a monthly Off-Broadway performance series at Theatre Row sharing testimonies from people navigating the U.S. immigration system, performed by actors using the in-ear verbatim technique.
