Alexander Nnamdi Uzobuife

Born in Nigeria and raised in the Bronx, Alexander Uzobuife is a versatile actor and artist based in NYC.

Coming from an immigrant household, perseverance was a huge lesson learned early in Alexander’s life. Alexander used this lesson and embarked on a 4-year journey of honing his talent and technique to show up as the best actor he can possibly be.

His versatility has really got to shine through in his roles at Purchase Repertory. From Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice, Chutes&Ladders in Water By The Spoonful, and Nurse in Romeo and Juliet. From playing characters of different status, age, and lived-in experience, Alexander has been able to stretch his imagination as much as he currently can.
