Heschel Bay

Heschel Bay is an actor based in NYC  and Boston, and is a member of the SUNY Purchase Acting BFA class of ’26.

Heschel is a co-founder and actor in his theater company Lucien Theater Company in New York, with which he portrayed Mercutio in their production of Romeo and Juliet in 2025. He will be bringing his clown show to the Camden Fringe Festival in London this summer of 2026.

At Purchase College, he has appeared as Romeo in Romeo and Juliet dir. Lisa Wolpe (2026), Konstantin in The Seagull dir. Alexandre Correia (2025), Kitty/Lady Catherine de Bourgh in Pride and Prejudice dir. James Dean Palmer (2024), and Hlestakov in Government Inspector dir. Virginia Scott (2024), along with many other stage productions and student films. 

Heschel grew up in Boston and has been acting since he was little. He also grew up training and fighting in many martial arts which shaped who he was. Besides acting, he writes poetry, cooks elaborate meals, and loves tea with nature and gardening.
