Tachynel Merveille is an actress from Staten Island and a member of the SUNY Purchase BFA Acting class of ’26.

Tachynel Merveille is a member of SUNY Purchase Acting BFA class of 2026. During her time at Purchase, she has taken on a range of characters including: Lady Capulet/Sampson in Romeo and Juliet (dir. Lisa Wolpe, 2026), Florina/Painter in Mad Forest (Christopher McCann, 2025), Haikumom/Odessa Ortiz in Water By The Spoonful (dir. Kadina de Elejalde 2025), Taylor in Stickfly (dir. Dean Irby, 2025), Caroline Bingley in Pride and Prejudice (dir. James D. Palmer) and Anna Andreyevna in The Government Inspector (dir. Virginia Scott).

Through the tools Purchase has provided, Tachynel has been able to build a strong foundation for her work while pushing her creative limits and sharpening her skills.

Before attending Purchase, Tachynel attended the LaGuardia High School Drama program. 

She is extremely grateful for the opportunities and support she’s received, and is continuing to create work that reflects her vision and passion.

Tachynel enjoys cooking, creating comedic content and skits, and traveling.
