Lilia Ireland
Lilia Ireland grew up in Portland, Oregon surrounded by a lot of trees. Raised in a creative household, they developed an early love of storytelling and ensemble performance. As a teenager, Lilia performed professionally with Oregon Children’s Theatre’s improv troupe Impulse and trained in musical theatre, later joining the theatre’s Young Professionals Company and acting professionally in regional theatre in Oregon. They also spent several summers with the Original Practice Shakespeare Festival, performing a range of roles in Shakespeare’s plays.
In addition to performing, Lilia is passionate about arts education and has taught improvisation, devising, and musical improv workshops for students of many ages spanning from five years old to 40!
At Purchase College, Lilia has appeared as Mercutio in Romeo & Juliet (dir. Lisa Wolpe, 2026), Irina/Priest/Flower Seller in Mad Forest (dir. Christopher McCann, 2025), Alice in Mosquitoes (dir.
