Ed Ventura
Ed Ventura is a Dominican-Puerto Rican artist raised & based in The Bronx, NY.
As an actor his previous credits have consisted of The Siblings Play (Rattlestick Theater), Prospect Avenue (Ensemble Studio Theater) , and Soft (MCC Theater) for which he was a Lucille Lortel Award Nominee (Best Ensemble). As a writer he was the 2020-2021 Van Lier New Voices Fellow, a 2018 Space on Ryder Farm Greenhouse Resident, and is a current member of Ensemble Studio Theater’s Youngblood writers group. His work has been developed with LAByrinth’s Intensive Ensemble, The Lark, and more.
His time performing at SUNY Purchase Repertory Theater has consisted of roles in Water by the Spoonful. dir. Kadina de Elejalde, Stick Fly dir. Dean Irby, The Good Doctor dir. Leon Addison Brown, Mad Forest dir. Christopher McCann, and more.
