Matthew Dennis

Born and raised in Manhattan, NY, Matthew Dennis is a spirited, high-energy actor who loves to delve deeply into his work, whether it be stage or screen. He has had the privilege to spend time under the tutelage of many great teachers, including Le’Asha Julius, Leon Addison-Brown, Christopher McCann and A. Dean Irby, among many others. When not acting, Matthew loves cooking, playing electric bass, hiking, and spending time with his cats. Some theatre credits include Friar Lawrence & Abram in Romeo and Juliet, John/Fountainhead in Water by the Spoonful, and Sorin in The Seagull. Film credits include Brian in Scherzo, written and directed by Daniel Shillinglaw, and Dylan in Chronically Online, written and directed by Daniel Silverman.
