Jakob Lee H DeDona

Jakob DeDona is a NYC-based actor from Oak Ridge, North Carolina

Jakob’s time in Purchase College’s acting conservatory has transformed both his life and craft. During his training, Jakob has portrayed a wide variety of characters on the stages of Purchase College. Some of his many roles include Mr. Bennet in Pride & Prejudice dir. James Dean Palmer(2024), Dr. Yevgeny Dorn in The Seagull dir. Alex Correia(2025), Ianos in Mad Forest dir. Christopher McCann(2025), as well as both Prince Escalus and Paris in Romeo & Juliet dir. Lisa Wolpe(2026).  While attending classes and working in productions, Jakob has also participated in numerous student film projects. 

Prior to attending Purchase College, Jakob received a diploma in acting from UNCSA’s high school drama program. As his learning continues, Jakob strives for both specificity and transformation in every aspect of his craft and physical instrument.
