Mace Veeder-Shave
Mace Veeder-Shave is a Costume Designer and Technician based in New York. They have experience in a variety of skills, including draping and flat patterning, alterations, distressing, fabric painting, airbrushing, dyeing, and millinery.
Over their time at SUNY Purchase, Mace has designed two mainstage productions: Orlando, directed by Rachel Dickstein, and How to Defend Yourself, directed by Ash Marinaccio. They have also built costumes for productions of Titus Andronicus, The Tempest, and The Seagull.
Last summer, they worked at the Santa Fe Opera as a stitching apprentice, where they had the opportunity to design an apprentice scene from Rigoletto directed by Dan Miller.
