Nolan Belcher

BIO

Nolan is a New York City based lighting designer. Rooted in a strong foundation in theater and a passion for storytelling through light, his work spans a wide range of projects including dance, musicals, and immersive experiences.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Nolan has been immersed in live performance from an early age. His curiosity about the inner workings of production led him to explore various technical disciplines before discovering his passion for lighting design.

He began his training at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, earning a CTE in Technical Theater, and went on to earn a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology from SUNY Purchase, with a concentration in lighting design.
