Imani Jones

Imani Jones is an actress from Prince George’s County, Maryland  

Since she was a little girl, Imani Jones always knew she wanted to entertain. She wanted to be able to make people feel.

Imani Jones is a member of SUNY Purchase Acting BFA class of 2025. During her time at Purchase, she has performed in many productions playing the roles of: Caliban in William Shakespeare’s The Tempest (2025), Rosie in Andrew Bovell’s Things I Know to Be True(2024), Mrs. Dickson from Lynn Nottage’s Intimate Apparel(2024), and Anytus in Tim Blake Nelson’s Socrates (2023).

Before attending Purchase College, she went to Suitland High school.

Imani is grateful for the tools Purchase has given that helped sharpen her skills and deepen her passion for acting. She also enjoys projects like crocheting, hair styling, and painting.
