Karim Angulo
Karim Angulo hails from Washington DC, and is a proud member of the SUNY Purchase BFA Acting Class of 2025.
Karim has always been fascinated by storytelling. Whether it was the myths and legends his parents read to him every night before bed, or the epic games of pretend he devised with his friends after school, exploring strange new worlds has been a source of deep joy for as long as he can remember.
During his time at Purchase, Karim has played a wide variety of characters including Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening dir. Jack Tamburri (2024), Ben Price in Things I Know To Be True dir. Eddie Dehayes (2024), and Peter Gale in Luna Gale dir. Katherine Wilkinson (2023). He also served as the swing for the character of Javier Mendes in Akeelah and the Bee dir. Charles Randolph Wright (2015) at Arena Stage, an experience he credits with making him fall in love with theater.
He is thankful for the opportunity to do this work and share his art.
