Nina Schatell is a Manhattan-based Stage Manager. Purchase credits include Twelfth Night, Cyrano de Bergerac, Make It Play, New Plays Now (Production Stage Manager), Barbecue, Everybody (Stage Manager), Dialogues of the Carmelites, The Colored Museum (Assistant Stage Manager).
Other credits include The World Is Not Silent, The Return of Young Boy, Sun Songs (Stage Management Apprentice) at New York Stage and Film, Emmet Cohen Trio and Friends (Production Assistant) at Jazz at Lincoln Center, and King Lear (Production Assistant) at New York Classical Theatre. Nina is a proud recipient of the Cody Renard Richard Scholarship. This past semester she was part of Beyond the Stage Door’s Spring 2023 cohort.
Production Stage Manager
Nina was the liaison between the designers and director. She ran rehearsals, tech and called the performances.

Production Stage Manager
Nina ran rehearsals and production meetings, called the show, and supervised a stage manager and assistant stage manager. Actors on stage utilized roller skates, scooters, heelys, skateboards, and bicycles as part of the production; part of the job included making sure all safety protocols were followed.
Stage Manager
Nina tracked props and supervised fight call. She ran the deck during performances and made sure everything ran smoothly back stage.
