Nicolette Polek

Nicolette Polek is the author of Imaginary Museums (Soft Skull Press, 2020) and the forthcoming novel, Bitter Water Opera (Graywolf Press, 2024). She is the recipient of a 2019 Rona Jaffe Writers Award, and her work has been published in The Paris Review Daily, BOMB, New York Tyrant, Spike Art Magazine, and elsewhere. She holds a BA from Bennington College, and an MFA from University of Maryland, College Park. She lives in New Haven, CT.
