Brian Paccione

Lecturer of Film

Brian Paccione, a writer and director, is a graduate of Columbia University’s film program, where he studied directing.

His directing work has been screened internationally and has received diverse accolades, most recently for his documentary “David And The Kingdom.” As a screenwriter, he has been honored at numerous festivals and he received the prestigious 2015 Ezra Litwak Distinction in Screenwriting at the 28th Columbia University Film Festival. 

Paccione also serves as the president of the MyBlock Education Program, an organization that mentors at-risk youths by helping them make short documentaries about their neighborhoods. He is currently developing a Rwandan film project with screenwriter Malia Scotch Marmo (Hook, Enchanted, Jurassic Park, etc.) and has previously taught screenwriting at Columbia University.
