My name is Tiffanie Lane and I am a New York City based stage manager. I was first inspired by the magic of theater in middle school when my family saw the touring production of Wicked. While watching the dazzling performance, a lightbulb went off in my head thinking… people do this for a living?!
Since then, I have enjoyed working on fresh, current plays and musicals that challenge today’s perspectives and inspire audience members to have lightbulb moments of their own.
Below you will find examples of the professional work I have been apart of, and past productions at SUNY Purchase. Please check out my website and LinkedIn page for more information about me and use the contact info to the right to get in touch.
Thank you for stopping by!

Tiffanie Lane ’21: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot
Performed an in-person show with an audience in a pandemic! With NO positive cases!
Our rehearsal period was 6+ months long, from October 2020 to March 2021.
Our rehearsal period was cut into two chunks, with our college winter break in the middle. We had a month hiatus.
Completed the tech of a 3.5 hour show in just two 10 out of 12’s.
We had 2 complete dress rehearsals before opening night.
There were 3 remote actors that called into the show and performed live from their homes – I not only called cues to the crew, but also to them in 3 separate states!

Worked as a part of the stage management team to support the show during the pre-production, rehearsal, tech and run of show process.
Acted as the liaison between the costume shop and stage management team.
Created wardrobe paperwork for the crew and SM team.
Many large set pieces including 30 foot oscillating walls and a working rolling guillotine.
This was a double casted show, with two full casts alternating rehearsals and performances.
Before being fully cancelled, stage management loaded props into the theater early, and used our existing scenery to do a simple tech of the show. We wanted to film it quickly before having to leave campus. We only could complete one tech evening.
