Jee Won Shin
Jee Won Shin (La Fée, Papagena) is a soprano, studying to earn her Artist Diploma in the Conservatory of Music’s Opera Performance/Vocal Studies Program. Jee Won is from South Korea. She previously earned an Artist Certificate at Aaron Copland School of Music, a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from New York University. She previously appeared as Adina in a segment from L’elisir d’amore, and she performed the music of Cécile Chaminade in a chamber music concert as well as Franz Schubert Lieder in a chamber music concert at Aaron Copland School of Music. At New York University, she sang the role of Susanna in a segment from Le nozze di Figaro, participated in The Rake’s Progress and Game of chance. In South Korea Jee Won Shin was a part of the Cavalleria Rusticana and Nabucco ensembles. She has the pleasure of studying in Dr. Sherry Overholt’s studio
