Emily Blumenfeld

Lecturer in Liberal Studies

Emily Blumenfeld, co-founder of Via Partnership, is a public art consultant, curator and art historian with expertise in strategic planning, program development, artist selection, exhibition production, media relations, and working with artists and community partners to ensure the maximum impact of their work. Emily curated and managed Inspiring Community Healing after Gun Violence: the Power of Art in Coral Springs and Parkland, Florida with a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies written by Via Partnership with the City of Coral Springs and Parkland, FL and has co-authored public art master plans in Providence, RI, Washington, DC, and Calgary, AB. Emily is also co-founder of Works on Water and serves on the community advisory committees for the Climate Museum and The Trust for Governors Island.

More About Me

Emily is a graduate of the International Leadership Program in Visual Arts Management, Guggenheim Bilbao, Spain, Deusto Business School, Bilbao, Spain and NYU Steinhardt School for Education, holds an MA in Art History and Archaeology from Washington University, St. Louis, MO and a BA from Trinity College, Hartford, CT.
