Bill Deere
Associate Professor of Graphic Design
Bill Deere, a design educator, has taught graphic design at the Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan, the College of Design at North Carolina State University, and the School of Art+Design at Purchase College. Additionally, he has been a visiting lecturer at York University (Toronto), Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México, the University of Arizona, and Yale University. His professional practice outside of education has been at IBM Design Center (RDU), Ligature Inc. (Chicago, IL), and Studio Dumbar (NL) along with numerous free-lance clients regionally and nationally. Exhibitions and publications include Graphic Design and Typography in the Netherlands: A View of Recent Work (Writing/Culture Monograph VI; Princeton Architectural Pr) at the Herb Lubalin Center at the Cooper Union.
