As an artist, I believe that art is made to fill the nooks that language can’t. Art is an experiment to feel the human condition. It exists as a medium to make sense of the experiences we face day by day. Within theater, I am asked to grapple with the complexities of what it is to be human. To design a world for a play is to put my heart and my voice on the line. It requires deep vulnerability. This vulnerability in turn is shared with others. In theater, I aim to share the deepest seed of my humanity to an audience, to live compassionately, and above all to challenge myself within this vulnerable place of creation.
