I was born in New York till I was 8, then moved to New Hampshire. My uncle introduced me to the magic of theater when he took me to my first Broadway show at age 4 and has continued to take me to a show every year for my birthday. But, it was in middle school when I stage managed my first live production, that I realized I wanted to be a part of that magic. I have been actively involved in theater production ever since.
I am grateful to have had amazing experiences because of the D/T program at Purchase. Below are some of my favorite moments from my educational and industry experiences.

Managed the deck.
Responsible for care and handling of 30 weapons; 12 broad swords, a glaive, axes, shields, daggers, and more for many large fight scenes that took place on a multilevel set.
Managed the tracks of each weapon and props throughout the theater space.
Ensured the weapons were properly maintained and safely secured each day after use.
Ran fight scene rehearsals and calls making sure the actors were safely going through the fight choreography.
Quick response preparedness planning in the event of any weapon accidents.

Due to a family emergency, the original director had to remove himself from the show process and was replaced with a new director in mid-production. As PSM I was responsible for bringing the new director up to speed.
Responsible for alerting all cast and crew to constantly changing information due to the change of director as well as the impact of Covid-19. Provided calm support to cast and team in a difficult time.
Prepared the rehearsal room for music and dance rehearsal.
Planned for a complex set that included the main stage and three “audience” interactive rooms.
