Allon Borenshtein

Born in Kfar Saba, Israel, Allon moved to the United States at the age of two. His parents moved to Israel just before the fall of the Soviet Union. His family speaks Russian at home.

Allon grew up in Acton, MA and attended Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, where he found his love for theater after his first role as Friar Lawrence in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Thanks to the aid and encouragement of his high school mentor, Linda Potter, as well as the support from his family, Allon began to pursue acting as a career. Some of his hobbies include hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and playing video games. He is also a writer of plays and poetry. A huge fantasy buff,  Allon has goals of one day working on projects like Lord of the Rings, which shaped his life.

He would like to thank the faculty of the Purchase Acting Conservatory, his family, and all his friends for helping him along his journey. He would like to dedicate his Senior Showcase and final show at Purchase, Twelfth Night, to his freshman acting teacher, Charles Tuthill.
