What is your motivation to succeed?

If you have the abilities to pursue your dream, do it. Why not? There will be obstacles in the road but if you’ve gotten to one point, climbed up mountains and dodged bullets (all figuratively), then there is a way to continue to achieve the goals you have put for yourself. And if you thought of it in the first place it was because you knew you could do it. So do it.

Tell us something most people don’t know about you.

I love reading for pleasure. Give me all of the books.

What are your long term goals?

I want to be able to financially sustain myself while also opening, building and supporting outlets to young artists in the Bronx to express themselves freely through all facets of art from exhibits, performances and collaborative projects.

What does EOP/MAP mean to you?

EOP/MAP holds it down. Seriously. Without EOP/MAP, I don’t think that my experience here at Purchase would’ve been as rich as it was and still is. The program is the best supportive system all throughout your career at Purchase; Paul, Mary and Glory, thank you for pushing us and keeping tabs on us to make sure we are okay and staying on top of our studies and moving forward rather than backwards during this journey. The many opportunities that I have gained, one being a mentor to the freshman class (now future sophomores! - Congrats!) was one of my favorites.

What’s your most invaluable experience at Purchase?

Many people know me as the, now former, President of LU or the Captain of the  Swim Team which is awesome but I think that the opportunity to be a mentor last summer for the incoming Freshman was the most invaluable experience throughout my college career.
