What is your motivation to succeed?
My motivation to succeed is my family but more specifically my younger sister Elibeth. I want to be the best role model possible for her.
Tell us something most people don’t know about you.
Most people don’t know that I have an obsession with pretzels and One Direction.
What are your long term goals?
My long term goal is to of course be happy with what I’m doing. I want to either be managing an artist in the future, or own my own non-profit (which would be a center for the LGBTQ+ community), or be the owner of my own museum which would feature works of people with Afro-latinx backgrounds and it would teach the masses about our history.
What does EOP/MAP mean to you?
I get the same feeling when I’m with the counselors compared to what I get back at my house. I get a strong sense of community and I will forever be grateful for that.
What’s your most invaluable experience at Purchase?
My most invaluable experience would be the EOP/MAP talent show during the summer. That event opened my eyes to the talent of my peers and it inspired me to make sure I find something to be as passionate about.
