Carter Hudson ’09 Cast in Broadway’s “Good Night and Good Luck”
Hudson joins the cast of the stage adaptation opposite George Clooney.
Carter Hudson ’09 returns to the stage to play Joe Wershba, a writer, editor, and correspondent for the CBS News team during the 1950s McCarthy era. Good Night and Good Luck is directed by David Cromer.
George Clooney makes his Broadway debut as the legendary CBS news anchor Edward R. Murrow in the stage version of his 2005 film of the same name.
Hudson had a six season run starring as CIA agent Teddy McDonald in the FX series Snowfall and also starred opposite Connie Britton in Apple’s Dear Edward, from creator Jason Katims, based on the bestselling novel by Ann Napolitano. Additional television credits include the Amazon series, The Wilds, created by Sarah Streicher, and Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Delicate.
Hudson got his start on stages in New York City, starring in plays like Lucy Prebble’s The Effect (also directed by David Cromer), The Substance of Fire, directed by Drama Desk Winner Trip Cullman, and many more.
Performances begin at the Winter Garden Theater on March 12.
