Passing of Caroline “Carry” Kyzivat (1930-2023)
The Library mourns the passing of long-time colleague, Caroline “Carry” Kyzivat.
Caroline “Carry” Kyzivat, an emeritus library professional staff member, passed away on April 23, 2023 at the age of 92. A long-time resident of White Plains, Carry served as the Acquisitions Coordinator at Purchase College Library from 1968 to 2011. Many faculty and staff may remember her as an extremely active member of UUP for over 40 years, having served as the President of the Purchase chapter.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will take place at 10:00am on Saturday, May 6 at McMahon, Lyon & Hartnett Funeral Home at 491 Mamaroneck Avenue, White Plains, NY. To learn more about her life and how to pay your respects, please see her obituary.
