The Provost/VPAA attended the November PSC meeting and kindly answered our questions.
We thank Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Earnest Lamb for attending our November 14 PSC meeting and answering some questions about himself and his vision for Purchase.
He described himself as “earnest” and “serious,” yet he has tattoos and “adores champagne.” (And he used to have dreadlocks that hung to his waist.)
We found proof.
While his time on campus has been somewhat brief, he appreciates the collaborative atmosphere here and values the input of staff members at all levels as we formulate plans to meet the challenges facing us and all higher education institutions ahead.
