Chris Perfetti ’11 Nominated for “Abbott Elementary”

The Critics Choice Award nomination is for the role of Jacob Hill in ABC’s smash hit workplace comedy.

Chris Perfetti ’11 has been nominated for a Critics Choice Award in the category of Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for the role of the slightly awkward and queer history teacher Jacob Hill in Quinta Brunson’s hit comedy Abbott Elementary. 

The ABC show cleaned up at the Emmy® Awards in September, winning three of seven nominations, and leads the Critics Choice Awards with six nominations.

Perfetti has appeared in films such as The Sound of MetalMinyan, and The Surrogate, and on television in NBC’s Crossbones, HBO’s Looking, and Bonding on Netflix, alongside his best friend and classmate Micah Stock ’11 (see below).

Perfetti’s work in theatre includes King James (Steppenwolf) and Moscow x6 (MCC Theater), a role which earned an Outer Critics Circle Award in 2020 for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play, and Broadway’s Six Degrees of Separation and Picnic.
