New Staff Member Spotlight: Meet Kellie Moran
Kellie Moran joined the Purchase Family on November 1, 2021 in the Office of Admissions as the new Assistant Director of Admissions. Kellie’s years of experience in Admissions make her a true asset to the Admissions Advisors team. In her role Kellie will supervise the Admissions Advisors’ team, and oversee both Transfer and Graduate Admissions.
Kellie is a double SUNY alum. She received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees through SUNY and is a firm believer in the system and what it has to offer students.
Kellie says she is drawn to Purchase because, “The “Think Wide Open” culture attracts a very diverse student population that I enjoy working with during their decision making process for what comes next.”
She says she is most excited for the incoming class of 2022. “These students have had a rough couple of years with COVID and I am excited to meet some of the students from the applications we have been seeing this season.”
Kellie is from Oceanside, Long Island but is in the process of relocating to Westchester County. In her spare time Kellie enjoys reading and trying new recipes. So to any other foodies on campus, feel free to connect with Kellie! She has also traveled to 17 countries and to 3 wonders of the world.
Kellie has a very diverse background in terms of both her professional and personal life. These experiences will be an asset as she leads the Admissions Advisors through this current cycle as they work together to bring in a great class for the college!
