Find Out What’s Going On at The Performing Arts Center and the Neuberger Museum!

There’s so much happening on campus! Here are some ways to stay in the loop.

I’m always interested in knowing what’s happening on campus, so I asked The PAC’s Director of Marketing, Mara Rupners, how to stay in the loop. She told me that, in addition to keeping an eye out for emails and signing up for the email list at https://www.artscenter.org/about-the-center/join-email-list/ , people can stay connected by checking The PAC’s website https://www.artscenter.org/ or following The PAC on social media:

You Tube

About “Culture Picks”: Since The PAC is not presenting artists at the moment, Mara asked me if I would write a weekly blog post suggesting virtual events. Many of the artists The PAC has presented developed an online presence during the pandemic, so it was a joy to keep them in the public’s eye. And I was delighted to discover many other artists who became visible during that time. Culture Picks appears every Thursday on The PAC’s website at https://www.artscenter.org/category/culture-picks/ I love hearing feedback about what people enjoyed, and I’d love hearing suggestions from you!

At Neuberger Museum of Art Director Tracy Fitzpatrick’s suggestion, I spoke with Stacy M. Leistner of The TAGS Group. Here’s what I learned from him: In addition to Tracy’s weekly backstory blog post, we send periodic “NEU To Do” exhibition and event announcements to our distribution list. When people sign up for the NEU newsletter at https://lp.constantcontactpages.com/su/XV5oxyR , they would automatically be signed up to receive both messages. However, the campus e-mail server blocks our ConstantContact messages to all purchase.edu addresses, so folks from campus would need to register with their personal e-mail accounts to receive our e-mails. We do send event invitations to the campus community via the BEM system, but we know there’s a lot of competing e-mail traffic to the campus community.

In addition to https://neuberger.org/ , we keep the www.purchase.edu/neuberger webpages up to date with all the latest info! Our social media accounts are @neubergermuseum of Instagram and Twitter and @neubergermuseumofart on Facebook.

Many thanks to Mara, Tracy, and Stacy for keeping us all informed!
