Celebrating the Season with Our Favorite Recipes

The PSC is thrilled to launch a holiday cookbook this season.

The December holidays inspire in people memories of food, family, friends, and fun. The last few years have challenged those memories for so many of us, especially the idea of gathering with others to share good meals and laughter.

I know that I am not alone in missing the Professional Staff Council bake-off, which always reminded us of the creativity and talent of so many of our colleagues. I would look forward to a healthy competition, beautiful photos, and a satisfied sweet tooth for much of the fall semester.

Given that we are still unable to gather, the PSC decided to find a way to still share food with one another by putting together a staff council “cookbook.” The recipes were all submitted by members of the PSC and represent treats they’ve enjoyed, food that always makes them think of the holidays, and recipes they love to share.

Because the “cookbook” is a Google doc, it’s not too late to send in a recipe of your own! Just email Lizz Elvira and I will add your treat to the document.

Please enjoy the Professional Staff Council Holiday Cookbook and, until we meet again, I’ll leave you with the words of an old Irish blessing “may you be blessed with the spirit of the season, which is peace; the gladness of the season, which is hope; and the heart of the season, which is love.”

Happy cooking!
