Emma Caymares ’12 Lands Role on ABC Sitcom

On the new ABC sitcom Call Your Mother, Emma (Pfaeffle) Caymares ’12 (dance) has landed the role of Celia, the social media influencer girlfriend of the character Freddie, the son of main character Jean, played by Kyra Sedgwick.

Caymares has held roles on Broadway including as Veruca Salt in the original cast of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Wendy in the original cast of Finding Neverland. She joined the international tour of West Side Story following graduation and also danced with Morphoses and Ballet Hispanico, both contemporary ballet companies.

Her credits also include a guest role on Law and Order: SVU and a recurring role on the FX series Fosse/Verdon. In 2017 she was featured in the ABC Discovers: New York Talent Showcase, which came with a prestigious one-year mentorship from the ABC Casting Department and unique access to ABC and ABC Studios executives.
