Monica Ferrell Finalist for Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award
For the Associate Professor of Creative Writing’s book, You Darling Thing.
Monica Ferrell, associate professor of creative writing, is a finalist for the $100,000 Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award, given to mid-career poets.
Her poetry collection, You Darling Thing (2018), is her third book. Her first collection of poems, Beasts for the Chase, was a finalist for the Asian American Writers Workshop Prize in Poetry and won the Sarabande Books Kathryn A. Morton Prize.
